How To Cure Dry Hair?

1. The best thing to do would be to shampoo less often, or use a mild shampoo with nourishing conditioner. Also, do have a look at the conditioner if it’s for ‘dry hair’, ‘frizzy hair’ etc.
2.Remember not to use the conditioner on hair near your scalp as this part is naturally oiled by sebaceosu glands. Towel dry your hair whenever possible.
3. If you have split ends, you can use a leave-in conditioner but remember that it would not remove your split ends.
4. The best solution would be to trim your hair before the split becomes longer and spreads through your hair shaft.
5. Many blogs report that shampoos containing alcohol are drying for hair. These tips may or may not be true and depend on the type of alcohol present.
6. Avoid Silicones-based Shampoos/ Conditioners
7. To find out if a shampoo and conditioner contains silicone or not look at the ingredients on the label. If the ingredients on the label says Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone or silicone, avoid using the products.
8. Use one or two drops of Olive oil in your hair if they look too dry. Don’t use in excess

Hair Spa

is ideal for your hair to regain its texture and shine. A hair spa consists of oil massaging, shampoo, hair mask, and conditioning. This helps in recovery of the shine and moisture in the hair, which is lost due to pollution and dryness.

Hair spa is a new concept that is claimed to be good for various hair problems, like, hair loss, dull and damaged hair, dandruff, split ends, etc. It has emerged as one of the ideal hair treatments and is offered by almost all hair salons. Let us have a look at the various aspects of hair spa treatment
Ideally, a hair spa involves oil massage of the scalp, shampooing and conditioning. It starts with oiling the scalp and the hair, which is followed by shampooing. After shampooing, conditioning treatment is done. It may take around one hour for this treatment at a salon. Hair spa treatment is said to be best for those, who are facing hair loss and those with dull and damaged hair. This treatment is claimed to arrest hair fall and regain the lost sheen and bounce of the hair. Growth

Like most normal beings of the human persuasion, I enjoy Spring.  I love the warm-but-not-hot weather, with plenty of rain and gloom mixed in with the sunshine (okay, maybe loving the gloom part is just me).  I delight in the color and shape of flowers.  Trees, one of my favorite things on this earth, have been known to make me cry (even when I wasn't pregnant!).

In the photo above you see one of my favorite Sights of Spring.  I love the old and the new.  What was and what will be.  The colors are beautiful together and I love how clearly you can see the growth of the tree.

Lately I've been feeling quite a lot like that.  Like I had a lot of the dark green.  Parts of me that had been.  Old parts.  And now there is a burst of the Spring green all over.  I can feel myself stretching out, growing and changing shape, while all of the old me remains as a base.

I'm not talking about weight gain.  Not in this post anyway.  Ha.  But I have been learning about food and health and new ways of living.  I've listened to people who have different opinions and beliefs about religion and politics.  It has changed me.  It has started new growth.

I view the world differently now.  I hold dearly to much of what has been.  The good things.  The things that were right.  But I can see them from a different angle, too.  I can understand another view.  It is fascinating and extremely thought provoking.

Life is just so awesome and interesting.  So much to be had and so many ways to grow.  So many shades of green.

Reasons For Hair Loss

Every one of us as human beings experience hair loss in one way or another. Whether it’s part of the normal falling off stage of hairs or whether it’s a situation that is promoted by external circumstances, hair loss happens.
  • A little understanding of the growth stages of hair may be in order right now. Hair grows in 3 cycles. These cycles are Anagen, Catagen and Telogen
  • The actual growth stage is dominated within the Anagen cycle. The Catagen stage is where the hair follicles lie dormant or even shrinks and the last stage Telogen is where the hair rests.
  • There are also medicated ways to try and stimulate your scalp to enforce hair growth
  • People know if they haven’t been eating enough protein in their diet.
  •  People know if they haven’t been exercising enough or there is too much stress in their lives. These are only part of the reasons why loss of hair can happen
  • Heredity factors certainly play a key role as well
  • who work their hair with chemical treatments, hot blow dryers, tightened hair braids and keeping up with the latest hair fashions can add to the situation as well.
  • Taking care of the body is one of the prime considerations in regrowing hair

Haircuts for Long Hair

I had long hair while I was in school and college. I used to love my tresses and used to be so proud of it. Long and black tresses enhanced my beauty.
All I used to with my hair and I have seen these trends until date. My hair stylist friend feels that any hair style, be it for long or short hair should be made based on the facial shape of the person.

Layered Haircut :

My friends feel that layered hairscut can be a amazing option for long hair. She says it will look beautiful and give the hair a great look. Highlighted hair, cut in flattering layers and left free is commonly seen among the Gen-Y. Bangs are also combined with straight hair to give it a trendy look.

Blunt And Taper Cut :

blunt and taper cut
A blunt cut first and then taper it at the ends; this will allow it to fall well on the shoulders. Comb it well to get the wave effect

Braid :

I remember braiding my long tresses while in school and in college, might be that braiding did help in safeguarding my long tresses. Braiding is also popular as plait as India.

Bun :

The bun remains a never-fading hair style with many women in India. India’s tropical climate has contributed to the same, tying back the hair into a bun helps in holding back hair in place.

Curls :

I have seen many women with long hair have mild curls at the bottom portion of their hair. It looks really good and falls well on their back too. Not many Indian women are gifted with naturally curly hair except for a few women from certain regions. Indian women generally tend to have wavy or straight hair; they can resort to the use of artificial curlers to have the curl effect in their hair.

Let Loose :

I have just left my hair open for a long time. It would fall so cutely on my back, for women with straight long tresses, letting their hair loose would look really good and I feel it gives an elegant look for women.
